SketchUp Design Draft
Started working on the main area of the above studio mostly based on the 'layered' sketch. not completely sure what I want to do for the underground as of yet.
The below section also used a sketch based of the word 'layered' since I was unhappy with the below section that was paired with the first above section

A Great Piece of Architecture
The Louvre Pyramid
The Louvre Pyramid in Paris was designed as an entry way to the Louvre Museum. It allows the movement of tourists through a naturally lit open space, whereas previously large crowds would build up and congest the traditional entrances of the museum.
The Pyramid was considered controversial at the time of its design as its modern aesthetic clashed with the traditional French Renaissance style of the surrounding buildings. However over time, this dichotomy would become one of the main attractive focal points of the area, the pyramid becoming as much of a tourist attraction as the paintings held within the Louvre.
Previous Creative Work
Inheritance
These
3 pieces made up my year 12 HSC major work "Inheritance". These artworks are digital
paintings and are created using Photoshop and a Wacom pen and tablet. This
combination of software and hardware enables me to emulate a traditional style
of painting with the benefit of digital post processing techniques.
Conceptually,
the work aspires to convey an abstraction of the future of our world through
the symbolism and style of the paintings that highlight a sense of
environmental degradation or loss. However, I also wanted to play with lighting
and especially how it is affected by water and atmosphere.
